The sophisticated schooling and scientific opportunities with 35 elementary and 11 middle schools as well as three private grade schools, three special schools, five junior high schools, one commercial school, five grammar schools, two trade schools, and two specialized secondary schools – one technical, one vocational – are convincing and ensure the economic development of our district with the resource of “nous”. The University of Applied Sciences of Neu-Ulm as a young business school and the International School ISU have increased the location’s international importance. Furthermore, the nationwide unique Education Centre for Family, Environment, and Culture in the monastery of Roggenburg provides future-oriented education. In April 2013, the District of Neu-Ulm was the first regional corporation in Bavaria to be certified as “educational region”.
