The municipal data processing association in the Neu-Ulm district is an association of various municipalities in accordance with the law on municipal cooperation to carry out certain tasks.

The special-purpose association is the data center for finance and reporting for 11 municipalities in the Neu-Ulm district and one municipality in the Augsburg district. He is also responsible for processing and collecting real taxes, as well as for preparing the annual financial statements for the municipal budgets. In addition, he takes over the asset accounting for the cost accounting facilities of the member municipalities as well as the preparations for the preparation of balance sheets and tax returns for the municipal businesses of a commercial nature.

Another business area in the special purpose association is the area of ​​geoinformation. Here, the special-purpose association takes over the processing of the municipal geodata on a contractual basis and its incorporation into the central district geoinformation system.
