Founded in 1896, the ulm homestead is the largest and oldest housing cooperative in Ulm. As a modern housing company with 37 employees, its focus is on letting its own housing stock.

Right to live for life
With approximately 2,500 apartments, the ulm homestead offers its more than 5,600 members living space at reasonable rents, right to live for life and profit sharing.

Maintenance, modernization and new construction
Most of our tenants live in attractive urban locations. Your satisfaction is important to us. That is why the ulmer homestead is continuously investing in the maintenance and modernization of the housing stock. With a consistently high investment volume, the ulm home base supports the regional construction industry and contributes to the preservation of jobs. The primary goal is to adapt the apartments to today’s living standards, particularly in terms of energy efficiency and the removal of barriers. This means that the ulm homestead can continue to offer its members good, contemporary and attractive living space for rent in the future.

Our savings facility
The savings facility, in which over € 41,3 million in savings is invested, is exclusively available to members and their relatives. The savings are invested exclusively in our own property, which helps the ulm home base to finance its construction activities and ultimately also benefits regional crafts. But not only the ulm home, but also the savers benefit from the savings facility by receiving attractive interest from us.
