The Charivari Meeting Point to offer international class events

14. März 2017

The ‘Blues Days’ kick off with `Sugar Ray and The Blue Tones` on the 9th March – a real all-star band, led by the singer and harmonica player Ray Norcia, who has been nominated for over 10 Blues music awards.
Once again outstanding virtuoso harp music will also be on offer:  the Hungarian Mátyás Pribojski ranks among Europe’s greatest harp players and will bring to Charivari his mixture of ‘swinging blues in rocking shoes’ on 16th March.
James Armstrong, son of a Blues singer and Jazz musician, is a great guitarist, singer and songwriter. The American has released many albums and has played alongside musical greats such as Buddy Guy, Keb Mo, Chaka Khan and Shemekia Copeland. He will perform at the Charivari on 23rd March.
Bringing a stunning combination of Mississippi blues, rock and American roots, the band ´Delta Moon` plays music like it should be: raw and honest. With the original line-up, the band from Atlanta will perform at Charivari on 30th March, presenting their new album ´Cabbagetown`.
At the finale of the ´Blues Days` on 6th April, Charivari brings to you yet another top act: `JP Soars and The Red Hots`. Not only was the string virtuoso from Florida victorious in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, he also won the highly regarded Albert King Award as best guitarist.
