The visitors of the International Danube Festival are welcome to stroll around, experience and enjoy the Market of the Danube countries, diverse art and cultural events as well as varied activities for children.
The international programme comprises an ambitious mix of different artistic directions as well as proven and new formats. 150 events give one the opportunity to enjoy music performances, ranging from classical to jazz, Balkan beats, world music, folk and pop, as well as literature, theater, dance, encounter projects, conferences, discussions and exhibitions.
The numerous events, most of which can be visited free of admission charge, as well as the colourful Market of the Danube countries with handicraft and culinary delights are a unique chance to experience and explore the cultural diversity of the Danube region.
A new established concert format “IDF Factory” marks the 10th anniversary of the International Danube Festival. Stage programmes developed jointly by artists from different countries during the festival are exclusively premiered at the Donausalon venue, which has established itself in recent years as a showcase of current musical trends along the Danube.

Around 300,000 visitors are expected at the 10th International Danube Festival in Ulm and Neu-Ulm, which runs until 10 July 2016. Artists and guests from all countries along the Danube meet here to celebrate a big cross-border event on the banks of the Danube.
