The Ulm innovation region was chosen as the two foremost places in the “Germany to feel good” survey. In the ARD survey “GlücksTrend” 2013, the region Danube-Iller with the highest satisfaction values is one of the six top places in Germany.
The clever alternative: living in the Ulm, Neu-Ulm and Alb-Donau area is significantly cheaper than in the large metropolitan areas. Short distances between home and work are not the exception here, but the rule.
Attractive due to its central location
The central location on the border between Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg opens up attractive opportunities for work and leisure. If you want to go far, use the proximity to the A7 and A8 motorways or to the airport in Memmingen. This can be reached in 30 minutes. The airports in Stuttgart, Friedrichshafen and Munich are also within easy reach. Rail travelers use the fast ICE and TGV connections. How about a trip to Paris? You can be in the European metropolis in less than five hours.
