Summer Stage at the Blautopf: Jazz, Cabaret and local music

The 13th Summer Stage will take place in mid-July this year, beginning on 15th July at 7 p.m with the famous international trumpeter, Joo Kraus, who will open up this year’s season together with the prizewinning Tales in Tones Trio and chamber orchestra Arcata. The cabaret artist Christian Springer of the TV- Show ‘Schlachthof’ complements the line-up on the first weekend. Prior to this, children from two years of age will be able to enjoy a fun puppet theatre performance of ‘Erstes Ulmer Kasperle’.
Top acts and local groups
On the following weekends, there will be different events related to the 750th  anniversary celebrations of the town of Blaubeuren, with Die Feisten, winners of the ‘ 2017 Deutschen Kleinkunst’ prize (4th August), Pete York and his Band (5th August) and the group Untertoener (6th August), Rattlesnake n Pimpy Panda (12th August), forming an electric cocktail of funk, neo-soul and jazz. The ensemble Klangwelle and the band Klangkraft close the season on 13th August. Tickets are available on the website and at selected booking offices.
