The historic market square in Ehingen will be the stage for two great concert evenings next summer:
The German pop star Ben Zucker will open the Ehinger Marktplatz Open Air on Thursday, June 6, 2024, with a big band and according to the motto “But today!”
After three gold and platinum-winning studio albums, a refreshing shower of precious metals for more than 750,000 records sold, almost 500 million streams, completely sold-out tours with millions of enthusiastic listeners, Ben Zucker is now demonstrating that his reserves of strength are far from exhausted – quite the opposite.
While recording his upcoming album, Ben Zucker was inspired by the playlist of his daily work-out program: predominantly danceable, driving electro sounds, whose clear influences can also be found in the new songs of the charismatic exceptional singer. With a mix of rock, pop, hits and electronica, songs from his new album and of course all his well-known hits, he will really heat up the audience.
Let’s Rock! The second evening, on June 7th, 2024, of the Ehinger Marktplatz Open Airs promises full throttle and legendary rock with STATUS QUO and special guest Spider Murphy Gang.
“Calling out to anyone who wants to know. We’re ready for the road it’s almost time to go.” The song passage from the STATUS QUO classic “Let’s Rock” perfectly describes what the fans can look forward to: A show in which of course the QUO mega-hit “Rockin’ All Over The World” should not be missing – just like “Whatever You Want”, “In The Army Now”, the long-running opener “Caroline” and many more…
Guitarist and band founder Francis Rossi promises: “The fans will hear lots of our hits from six decades of STATUS QUO. Unfortunately, we can’t play all of them because then the concert would last over five hours.” With 100 hit singles in 60 years of band history, that’s easy to understand. The fact is: Rossi & Co. will go full throttle as usual, after all STATUS QUO with their energetic live show are not for nothing and are still one of the best live bands of all time.

This is also guaranteed by the special guests Spider Murphy Gang, who have proven themselves several times to be the “perfect match” in a duo with STATUS QUO in Germany. Spider Murphy Gang is THE Bavarian rock’n’roll band and you can’t ignore their hits all over Germany, even in the far north. Their biggest successes like “Scandal in the Barrier District” and “Schikeria” are still an integral part of any party today . At the Ehinger Marktplatz Open Air we can also look forward to all their biggest hits and a lot of good mood.
